Charitable Healthcare Providers (CHCP) are people or organizations that provide primary care medicine or dentistry without compensation, payment or reimbursement by the patient, any governmental agency or insurer.

Charitable Healthcare Providers and people volunteering to provide medical services who are not otherwise covered by any medical professional liability insurance and who meet the terms for eligibility may apply to the department for premium reimbursement pursuant to
KRS 304.40-075 and
806 KAR 40:020.
