Attention Insurance Companies and Licensees
The insurance industry is subject to the mandate in Executive Order 2020-968.  Paragraph Eight of the Order reads, “All professional services and other office-based businesses must mandate that all employees who are able to work from home do so, and close their businesses to the public when possible.  Any office that remains open must ensure that no more than 33% of employees are physically present in the office any given day.”

For purposes of the Executive Order, there is no distinction drawn between essential and non-essential businesses.  This is a mandate and not a recommendation.  The Executive Order will be in effect from November 20, 2020 at 5:00pm until December 13, 2020 at 11:59pm.
