This is a joint venture of the Department of Insurance (DOI) and the Department of Motor Vehicle Regulation (DMVR). The regulation is a part of the Insurance Code as it sets forth the responsibilities of insurance companies to report information regarding vehicle insurance to the DMVR, which is responsible for "front line" enforcement of Kentucky's mandatory motor vehicle insurance laws.
